The project Knowledge Helper for Medical and Other Information users (KHRESMOI) aims to develop a multi-lingual multi-modal search and access system for biomedical information and documents. The project is funded under the EU 7th Framework Programme ICT theme. The consortium, consisting of 12 partners from 9 European countries, has been developping a web-based multi-lingual multi-modal search and access system for biomedical information and documents over the next four years. The system will allow querying in several languages, in combination with visual image queries. It will return translated document summaries linked to the original documents.
